Summary
Fresh is hiring a Manager, Inventory Planning to drive inventory and demand forecasting for wholesale accounts including Sephora and Kohl’s. The role owns end-to-end product lifecycle planning, maintains and improves forecasting models, and ensures products are delivered in the right quantities and on time. This position partners cross-functionally with Key Accounts, Marketing, Global Operations, Shared Services and Supply Chain to implement inventory strategy and meet sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze weekly sales data and inventory levels including on-hand, in-transit, and on-order to optimize stock positions.
- Maintain and improve demand forecasting models and implement supply planning best practices.
- Manage inventory targets and in-stock/presence rates across wholesale accounts and channels (brick and mortar vs ecommerce).
- Develop SKU productivity analysis, recommend assortment actions, and manage RTV processes for discontinued SKUs.
- Maintain NA order book roll up and collaborate with Key Accounts to achieve monthly shipment forecasts.
- Partner with Global Supply and DC teams to resolve fulfillment issues and minimize shipping chargebacks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports and conduct ad hoc analyses to support forecasting and planning decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, retail planning, inventory management, or allocation.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail math and forecasting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and links.
- Experience with SKU-level assortment planning and retail analytics data models.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
