Manager, Regulatory Affairs - China

Summary

The Manager, Regulatory Affairs - China will own regulatory matters related to the China market, ensuring Fresh's compliance with evolving Chinese cosmetic regulations. This role coordinates efforts between Fresh HQ, LVMH Central Regulatory Affairs, and LVMH China RA, and requires strong cross-functional collaboration to support product registrations, claims review, and artwork approval. The manager will also maintain tracking systems and report regulatory KPIs to support business continuity in China.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret China cosmetic regulations and regulatory developments.
• Establish and maintain communication protocols between Fresh HQ, LVMH Central RA, and LVMH China RA.
• Manage copy and claim review and perform risk assessments for the China market.
• Lead naming translation processes and review and approve Chinese-language artwork for compliance.
• Support pre-market registrations and technical documentation; manage acquisition and modification of China Hygiene Permits.
• Maintain the China projects tracking system and monitor and report regulatory KPIs.
• Liaise regularly with China RA, including weekly calls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 4 years of regulatory affairs experience in a highly regulated industry (cosmetics, food/beverage, pharmaceuticals).
• Proven experience working with China regulations is required.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence across organizational levels.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged stationary work and occasional light to moderate lifting.
