Summary
The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets within designer womenswear. This role oversees recruiting, coaching, merchandising standards, inventory performance, and acts as manager-in-charge when required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and customer service targets for assigned area
- Recruit select hire and onboard top retail talent
- Lead motivate and retain a high performing sales team
- Coach employees on performance goals and deliver feedback and improvement plans
- Oversee merchandise presentation and inventory performance strategies
- Implement customer relationship and loyalty management programs
- Manage payroll expense and scheduling to meet business needs
- Serve as manager in charge of the store as required
- Collaborate with store managers and leased businesses to ensure seamless customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience with accountability for driving sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
- Retail selling experience in a luxury environment preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop talent
- Experience implementing clienteling and loyalty programs
- Ability to manage operational duties including payroll and health and safety compliance
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify opportunities to drive business
