Manager - Women's Designer Apparel - NYC Flagship

Summary

The Sales Department Manager leads the Women's Designer Apparel team at the NYC Flagship, coaching and developing associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals. This role combines hands-on selling, people leadership, and business planning to drive department and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, develop and motivate the sales team to achieve department and individual goals
• Lead by example and set/exceed personal and company sales targets while emphasizing outstanding customer service
• Create and execute business plans in partnership with the team to meet department and store objectives
• Actively sell on the floor to build long-lasting customer relationships and a loyal client base
• Partner with the merchant team to ensure merchandise assortment meets customer needs

Requirements

• 1+ years of successful retail management experience
• Experience leading and motivating teams to perform at a high level
• Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
• Passion for teaching and coaching employees to achieve goals and deliver outstanding service
• Proven track record of developing, planning and executing business strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire, direct and lead
• Prior experience in a Rack Store preferred
