Summary
Develop assortment plans that support corporate objectives and maximize profitability before and during the season. Align merchandise assortment strategy with financial goals across sales, gross margin, and inventory, while contributing to projects that improve departmental systems and efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver financial results through assortment strategies informed by current and historical trends and store research.
- Create and maintain style plans for in-season and pre-season sales, gross margin, and inventory.
- Communicate financial strategies, oversee allocation strategies, and partner with cross-functional teams to align on objectives.
- Quantify assortments against financial targets, address assortment gaps with buyers, and execute store clustering and attribute analysis.
- Manage receipt reconciliation and reflow opportunities, analyze and forecast style-level sales and inventory, and communicate receipt needs to production.
- Coordinate planning efforts and foster cross-divisional relationships, collaboration, and effective processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MicroStrategy, Microsoft Office, GFE+, Impact Analytics allocation system, and O9 planning systems.
- Proficiency in retail math and cost accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, listening, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate approach.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
