Operations Lead - Grand Prairie

Summary

The Operations Lead will support the Supervisor in overseeing and optimizing daily operations at a luxury retail regional distribution center on the evening shift, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of high-value goods while maintaining quality, security and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with daily tasks and shift hand offs.
• Train, mentor and manage a team ensuring policy adherence.
• Assign daily work, monitor progress and adjust to meet operational demands.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping processes.
• Monitor KPIs, resolve bottlenecks and maintain quality and security standards.
• Serve as point of contact for brands and communicate with internal teams.
• Lead SOP implementation and identify process improvements using Lean and 5S.
• Participate in SAP EWM system checks and business projects.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in operations or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of distribution center operations and logistics processes.
• Experience with warehouse management systems; SAP a strong plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
• Proven team leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Continuous improvement mindset and problem solving ability.
• Flexibility to work different departments, functions and shifts.
