Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee daily store operations to ensure operational and merchandising standards are met, support sales objectives, and develop and motivate store associates. Acting as a key support to Store Leadership, this role manages inventory accuracy, facility maintenance, and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure store operations comply with company policies and procedures.
- Operate the POS for transfers, payments, stock inquiries, and customer database management.
- Assume the role of Store Manager in their absence and support achievement of sales objectives.
- Maintain store facility, coordinate repairs and vendor work, and manage back-office organization.
- Control store expenses, cash procedures, petty cash, and payroll accuracy.
- Lead inventories, cycle counts, monthly audits, and manage inventory discrepancies and damages.
- Supervise shipping, receiving, OMNI product transfers, and after-sales accuracy.
- Liaise with loss prevention, guard company, and external vendors to ensure security and operational standards.
- Manage scheduling, new hire back-office training, and HR paperwork processing.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of high-volume retail experience; luxury experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of confirmed store operations experience.
- Intermediate digital literacy and proficiency with POS and inventory management functions.
- Ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and staff development.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
