Summary
The Operations Manager reports to the Store Director and oversees all operational functions including inventory control, housekeeping, repair and maintenance, and operations associates to ensure smooth running of store operations and excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control activities including shipping and receiving, cycle counts, transfers, returns and damages
- Oversee after sales program and yearly inventory cycle planning
- Adhere to P and L budget and manage controllable store expenses
- Support loss prevention and risk management including physical security and internal audits
- Ensure timely balancing of petty cash, mail checks and invoices
- Maintain team adherence to retail operations and security procedures
- Ensure team digital fluency on POS inventory platforms and store tools
- Manage boutique schedule and bi weekly payroll process
- Assist in absence of Store and Assistant Store Manager
Requirements
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven shipping and receiving experience
- Strong POS inventory and phone systems knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
- Acute interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
- Knowledge of inventory control and loss prevention practices
