Operations Manager - Rodeo Drive

Summary

Responsible for stock management and warehouse operations in line with corporate KPIs, guidelines and procedures. Manages the stock team to facilitate the selling process through accurate stock maintenance and by minimizing stock losses. Ensures implementation of Store Operations Department and Store Manager directives across goods receipt, stock flow and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of products and valuable materials in the warehouse during handling.
• Manage daily goods receipt, arrange merchandise per corporate procedures and prepare product for the shop floor and special areas.
• Organize and perform product counting and stock takes and assure accurate tracking of product flow through SAP.
• Manage stockroom activities including markdowns, returns, shop-to-shop transfers and e-commerce delivery following corporate guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning and security of the stock facility and optimize organization of stockroom space.
• Train, manage, evaluate and coordinate the stock team, including performance assessments and task planning.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Organized, detail oriented, mature and assertive approach to operations.
• Business or retail management degree or equivalent is a plus.
• Interest in luxury, fashion, art and design.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
