Operations Specialist

Summary

The Operations Specialist supports store operations by managing inventory flow, processing shipments and transfers, and organizing the stockroom to maximize efficiency. This role works closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure product availability and maintain Loro Piana standards for stock presentation and storage. The specialist also performs cycle counts and audits to verify quantities and product condition.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments and manage transfers accurately.
• Move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to identify and report discrepancies and verify product condition.
• Implement security measures through inspections and prepare products for display.
• Organize and maintain clean, labeled stockrooms with an optimized layout for accessibility.
• Communicate with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping and timely delivery and update the sales team on inventory availability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control processes.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
