Facilities Associate - Melrose Gallery

Summary

The Facilities Associate supports the RH Melrose Gallery by executing maintenance and housekeeping initiatives to ensure the gallery, grounds, systems, and storage areas meet RH standards. This role coordinates and performs preventive and reactive repairs, manages work orders and maintenance prioritization, and helps maintain a safe operational environment. The associate works closely with the Gallery Team to minimize downtime and uphold facility appearance and function.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure optimum service levels
• Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
• Perform and schedule preventive maintenance for equipment such as forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
• Manage prioritization and scheduling of work orders to minimize downtime and support production
• Maintain safety compliance by observing and enforcing OSHA, food safety, and HAZMAT requirements
• Respond quickly to downtime situations affecting gallery operations

Requirements

• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
• Proven ability to identify and present opportunities for process improvement
• Excellent communication and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Ability to maneuver around gallery floor, stock room, and office and perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
