Distribution Center Associate

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This role works in a distribution center handling pallets, staging and loading trailers, and ensuring items are stored and moved without damage. The position requires physical labor and attention to inventory flow and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order, aligning product by vendor.
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices.
• Ensure accuracy of loads and proper stacking to prevent damage.
• Perform put-away, picking, and storage to maintain inventory integrity.
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals.
• Operate in a manner that promotes safety and compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free warehouse environment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience.
• Basic mathematics and reading skills with a strong understanding of inventory flow.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Capable of prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
