Operations Specialist

Summary

The Operations Specialist supports store operational and inventory activities to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. This role manages incoming and outgoing shipments, replenishes the sales floor, organizes stockrooms, and collaborates with the sales and operations teams to maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory flow and streamline processing of shipments and transfers.
• Move merchandise from stockroom to sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify quantities and product condition.
• Implement security inspections and prepare products for display.
• Maintain organized, labeled stockrooms and establish efficient warehouse layouts.
• Coordinate with operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping and timely delivery.
• Provide inventory availability updates to the sales team to support selling efforts.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control processes.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
• 3+ years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
