Operations Training Manager - Madison 550

Summary

As the Operations Training Manager for the NYC/Central region you will design and deliver instructor-led, in-person and web-based training to retail employees to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will conduct needs assessments, develop user-oriented training materials, and provide on-site and virtual support to retail teams. The role reports to the Director, Operations Training and collaborates cross-functionally to implement and update retail policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject-matter expert on store policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
• Design and develop training materials and resources using multiple modalities (PowerPoint, digital platforms, videos).
• Administer training in-person and virtually for new store openings, new hires, turnover, and management relocations.
• Conduct needs assessments and provide on-site individual training and follow-up support to retail teams.
• Partner with Internal Control and cross-functional departments to develop, update, and implement retail policies and procedures.
• Manage departmental budget and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in curriculum development and training delivery; retail operations experience preferred.
• Experience creating learning materials and familiarity with learning management systems a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfortable with technology.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
