Summary

The Outlet Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming merchandise at the store backroom. This role ensures accurate inventory intake, timely staging of product for the sales floor, and maintains organized stockroom conditions. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments, verify quantities and documentation against packing lists.
• Inspect merchandise for damage and report discrepancies or defects.
• Sort, tag, and stage product for transfer to the sales floor or storage areas.
• Maintain organized and clean stockroom and back-of-house areas.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely and follow loss-prevention procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail receiving, warehouse, or stockroom operations preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and merchandise repeatedly during a shift.
• Basic numeracy and accurate record-keeping skills for inventory counts and paperwork.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.
