Responsibilities

• Press customer and store owned garments to company standards
• Spot clean garments using appropriate methods
• Operate pressing equipment and maintain tools
• Handle a variety of garment styles and fabric types
• Work in a store or workroom environment to support alterations workflow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Communicate with team members about garment status

Requirements

• Vocational training as a presser preferred
• Experience in an alterations operation or industrial environment preferred
• Familiarity with different fabrics and garment construction
• Ability to perform duties satisfactorily and follow processes
• Customer focus and effective communication skills
• Ability to learn technical processes and manage work
