Summary
The Product Costing & Analytics Analyst supports accurate, timely, and data-driven product costing across the development and production lifecycle. The role validates cost components, analyzes pricing and margin variances, maintains costing data and reporting, and partners with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure cost integrity.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and analyze product costing information including cost sheets, BOMs, purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate purchase order price change requests, investigate discrepancies, and resolve pricing or documentation issues with vendors and stakeholders.
- Perform variance analysis between show, development, final production, and post-production costing to support margin visibility.
- Maintain and update costing data, cost charts, and related reporting to support business analysis and decision-making.
- Use Excel, Sigma, PLM, Qiwk reports, Jira, and other systems to generate reports and identify inconsistencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to review high-volume costing, BOM, PO, and invoice data.
- Advanced Excel skills including large datasets, formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and analytical reporting.
- Experience with PLM, Sigma, Qiwk, Jira, or similar systems preferred; knowledge of jewelry materials and production processes a plus.
- Proactive problem solver, highly organized, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
