Summary
The Product Lead is responsible for product marketing and lifecycle management for a specific jewelry collection, executing the vision and strategy set with the Director. This role creates product roadmaps, conducts market analysis, defines customer positioning, and oversees development from concept to in-store launch while mentoring specialists and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute and refine multi-year product roadmaps aligned with brand strategy and annual calendar.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis and identify collection opportunities.
- Define target customer, product naming, positioning, and storytelling.
- Manage day-to-day product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond.
- Oversee prototyping, sourcing, production, packaging, and quality control.
- Develop financial forecasts and pricing strategies with Sales Merchandising and demand planning.
- Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to inform assortment and lifecycle decisions.
- Collaborate with Design, Marketing, PR, Omni, Supply Chain, and regional teams for aligned execution.
- Mentor specialists and provide guidance and training to regional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product or marketing, preferably in luxury goods or jewelry.
- Strong understanding of jewelry design materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity entrepreneurial and creative flair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PLM experience preferred.
