Job Description

Summary

The Product Lead is responsible for product marketing and lifecycle management of a specific jewelry collection, building and executing the vision and strategy set with the Director. This role creates product roadmaps, conducts market analysis, defines customer positioning, and collaborates with cross functional teams to drive product launches and in store execution.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and refine multi year product roadmaps aligned with brand strategy and annual calendar.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis and identify product opportunities.
  • Define target customer and develop product naming positioning and storytelling.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch including prototyping sourcing and production.
  • Collaborate with Design Sales Merchandising Marketing Demand Planning and Supply Chain for alignment.
  • Develop financial forecasts and lead pricing strategy for the product collection.
  • Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to inform assortment and lifecycle decisions.
  • Oversee creation of product content and support marketing PR and omni channel launch activities.
  • Mentor Specialists and provide team guidance training and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product or Marketing preferably in luxury goods or jewelry.
  • Strong understanding of jewelry design materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management software is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
