Summary
Home textiles product management specialist responsible for translating design vision into technical specifications, managing development calendars and vendor communication to support Ralph Lauren Home seasonal retail and wholesale programs. Role requires collaboration across design, sourcing, vendors and cross functional partners to ensure quality, construction and delivery timelines are met.
Responsibilities
- Create maintain and finalize product technical specifications for sourcing offices and vendors
- Manage and track programs and development calendar ensuring deadlines and RL standards are met
- Prepare and manage submits for design review and evaluate color trims sewing and base cloths
- Troubleshoot development issues with design product development teams and vendors
- Maintain records of submits SEFs and samples including market PP and TOP
- Communicate daily with Ralph Lauren offices and direct vendors across regions on development comments approvals and inquiries
- Participate in art pack hand over meetings and support sourcing and seasonal product allocation
- Initiate testing compliance conversations and maintain trim reference library and PLM material IDs
- Manage workload to department initiatives and escalate exceptions to senior team
Requirements
- College degree required
- 4-6 years experience in product development technical design or related field
- Experience with factory setting production and sourcing
- Strong knowledge of fabric yarn construction finishes and techniques
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop MS Office and MS Excel
- FlexPLM or comparable PLM software experience preferred
- Excellent communication interpersonal time management and organizational skills
- Ability to form strong partnerships across departments and manage competing priorities
