Summary
The Program Manager is a strategic partner to senior product leadership, enabling strong execution through proactive planning, content excellence, and operational rigor. This role owns the VP portfolio’s operating rhythm, planning cycles, and executive communications to ensure alignment and measurable business impact. The focus is on designing scalable processes, templates, and governance that allow leaders to make high-value decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP to develop product strategy narratives, vision decks, and executive materials that connect strategy to business outcomes.
- Own the end-to-end quarterly planning process, partnering with Finance to track progress, outcomes, and resource alignment.
- Manage the full lifecycle of leadership meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, decision tracking, and follow-through.
- Establish and maintain standards for portfolio storytelling, program reviews, and executive updates.
- Design and support leadership offsites and engagement events to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Develop templates, playbooks, and tools to scale best practices and track indicators of meeting and operating effectiveness.
- Support onboarding and integration for new team members within the VP portfolio.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management, strategic operations, or business operations supporting senior leaders.
- Experience supporting product or technology organizations and working knowledge of product management concepts and business metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive-level content.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and operate effectively across senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills; familiarity with Agile/Lean practices, OKRs, and quarterly planning frameworks preferred.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, consulting, or corporate strategy is a plus.
