Project Manager, Design And Construction

Summary

The Project Manager supports Nordstrom's Design and Construction group by coordinating purchasing, delivery, and installation of fixtures, furniture, and equipment for stores, distribution centers, and offices. The role tracks purchase orders and helps ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Generate and track purchase orders from requisition through delivery and payment reconciliation.
• Coordinate delivery and installation schedules with project managers, vendors, suppliers, store leaders, and contractors.
• Communicate order and shipping updates, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support installations, verify deliveries, assist with punch lists, and oversee vendors and temporary workers on site.
• Maintain reports and tracking tools for purchasing, vendor performance, and installation progress.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, project coordination, operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel; Coupa or Smartsheet experience is preferred.
• Experience with purchase order processes, including ordering, tracking, and payment reconciliation, is preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Operations, or a related field.
