Summary
Lead the rollout of Nordstrom Technology's AI Native operating model, translating an evolving direction into working processes, metrics, and operational discipline. Partner with engineering and business leaders to deliver change, improve visibility into progress, and help teams adopt durable new practices.
Responsibilities
- Sequence, pilot, and roll out engineering processes, adjusting plans as the operating model evolves.
- Build metrics, reporting, review cadences, checkpoints, and escalation paths to measure delivery and process health.
- Coordinate change management, communications, training, adoption tracking, and cross-team dependencies.
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions to senior leaders and engineering teams, and mentor program managers and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical program management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
- Experience leading process transformation and organizational change, including when plans are evolving.
- Experience helping engineering teams adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices, with measurable results.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Familiarity with software delivery practices such as CI/CD, release management, and observability, and with both waterfall and agile delivery models.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
