Receiving Support Associate - Aventura

Summary

Responsible for receiving and processing incoming merchandise at the store's receiving area. Supports inventory accuracy by inspecting, unpacking, tagging, and organizing product for the sales floor and backroom. Works closely with store operations and stock teams to ensure timely stocking and maintain backroom organization. This is a part-time, in-store role at the Aventura location.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive incoming shipments, verify contents against invoices and packing lists.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, process returns, and prepare items for tagging and distribution.
• Organize and maintain backroom inventory and storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety.
• Stage product for delivery to the sales floor and assist with merchandising as directed.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Safely operate material handling equipment and follow loss-prevention procedures.

Requirements

• Prior retail receiving, stockroom, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise and to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
