Receiving Support Associate - Tysons Corner

Summary

Provides receiving and processing of incoming merchandise at the store's receiving area, ensuring accurate counts and timely movement of stock to the sales floor and backroom. Supports inventory control and collaborates with store operations to maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety. Performs physical tasks including lifting, staging, and scanning shipments while following loss-prevention procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify quantities and condition.
• Unload trucks, stage, and sort merchandise for distribution to departments.
• Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to record receipts and update stock locations.
• Move merchandise to the sales floor and backroom and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and follow safety and loss-prevention protocols.

Requirements

• Prior retail receiving, stocking, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or handheld scanning devices.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and ability to follow procedures.
