Summary
Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale and on the sales floor, assisting customers with purchases, returns and inquiries while maintaining a polished and organized department focused on dresses.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and by phone with sales, returns and other transactions at checkout
- Maintain quick and friendly service while listening to customer needs and offering product knowledge
- Keep the department runway ready by straightening, light cleaning and restocking the cash wrap and sales floor
- Support other store areas including order fulfillment and order pick up as needed
- Build customer relationships by sharing information about events, gift cards and rewards
- Stay current on fashion trends and product assortments to assist with purchase decisions
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills and reliable follow through
- Problem solving ability and comfort using computers and new applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending reaching and lifting
- Frequent use of hands for grasping fine manipulation pushing and pulling
- Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
