Summary

The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates and grows a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on meeting sales goals through in-store and digital selling, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a customer-ready department. The schedule varies by business needs and may require occasional work in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using texting and social media tools
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow customer following
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit to customers
• Open new customer rewards accounts and promote loyalty programs
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, perform price markdowns, and complete light cleaning
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the department customer-ready

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated and goal oriented with the ability to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment and work a flexible schedule
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and use of hands
• Ability to handle bulky items and lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
