Retail Sales - Accessories

Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates and grows a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals, providing personalized styling and fit guidance, and maintaining a customer-ready department. The position requires flexibility to support other departments as needed and to work a variable schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, using tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide personalized, honest styling and fit recommendations to customers
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, executing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives and occasionally support other departments

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability; schedule will vary based on business needs
• Physical ability to be active for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
