The Retail Salesperson for Accessories is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining department readiness.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow customer following
- Provide excellent service and confident feedback on style and fit
- Assist with filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
- Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts to grow relationships
- Work flexibly across schedules and occasionally in other departments as business needs require
- Perform continuous movement for long periods and handle merchandise including lifting up to 25 pounds
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong interest in networking and technology for sales
- Ability to excel in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced setting
- Organization and strong follow through
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and use hands for grasping and manipulation
