Summary

Customer-focused retail salesperson responsible for achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling while providing styling advice and building lasting customer relationships. The role requires flexibility to support other departments as needed and use of technology and networking to grow sales and Nordstrom Rewards accounts.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Engage customers and provide styling and fit advice
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and grow customer following
• Use text and social media tools to support digital selling
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Support merchandising tasks including stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Fill orders and assist customers across departments when needed
• Work varied schedules based on business needs
• Maintain a customer ready department

• Ability to use networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment
• Organization and strong follow through
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift with bending and reaching
• Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
