Summary

The Retail Sales Associate sells Active merchandise both in-store and digitally, cultivating and growing a customer following through exceptional service and styling expertise. This role sets and achieves sales goals using selling tools including text and social media, and works with team members to maintain a customer-ready department. The position requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling advice and honest feedback on fit and product selection
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Collaborate with the team to support store operations and occasionally assist other departments
• Perform duties that may include continuous movement and handling merchandise throughout the shift
