Retail Sales - Kids' Apparel & Shoes - Southpark

Summary

Provide exceptional customer service and styling expertise for kids' apparel and shoes on the sales floor and through digital channels. Drive sales by cultivating customer relationships, using selling tools including text and social media, and meeting individual and department goals. Maintain a customer-ready department through merchandising, stocking, and order fulfillment while working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using available tools and platforms
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a customer following
• Provide personalized styling advice and honest feedback on fit and product
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, apply price markdowns, and perform light cleaning
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer engagement
• Work flexibly across schedules and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach and ability to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and follow-through skills and willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Physical ability to be on your feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
