Summary

As a Retail Salesperson in Men's Apparel you will drive sales both in-store and digitally by building lasting customer relationships and providing styling expertise. You will use selling tools, including text and social media, to meet sales goals and collaborate with the team to maintain a customer-ready department. The schedule varies based on business needs and flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling
• Build and maintain customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling and fit advice and deliver excellent customer service
• Use selling tools such as text and social media to grow customer following
• Maintain department presentation: fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, apply price markdowns, and perform light cleaning

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and goal oriented
• Interest in using technology and networking to achieve sales goals; ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule
• Physical ability to be active for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 25 pounds
