Job Description

Summary

Passionate salesperson focused on fashion and styling who cultivates and grows a customer following both digitally and in-store. Responsible for achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining department readiness. Must be flexible with schedule and occasional duties outside the hired department.

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
  • Use texting and social media to engage customers and drive sales
  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships
  • Provide styling advice and feedback on fit and product
  • Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, and perform price markdowns
  • Perform light cleaning to keep department customer ready
  • Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow relationships
  • Work collaboratively with team members and assist in other departments as needed
  • Work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong sales focus
  • Interest and ability to use networking and technology for selling
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
