Summary

The Retail Salesperson for Shoes provides styling and exceptional customer service both in-store and digitally, cultivates and grows a customer following, and works to meet individual and department sales goals. The role requires using selling tools including text and social media, offering honest fit and style guidance, and supporting department readiness through merchandising and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the customer following
• Provide confident styling and fit recommendations to customers
• Perform merchandising tasks: fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, and execute price markdowns
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer relationships
• Work a flexible schedule and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
• Perform physical tasks required for the role, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
