Summary

The Retail Sales Associate supports the shoes department by delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals both in-store and through digital channels, and cultivating long-term customer relationships. This role requires styling knowledge, use of selling tools including text and social media, and flexibility to support other departments as needed. The position is schedule-flexible and involves physical activity related to merchandising and customer assistance.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a personal client base
• Provide personalized styling guidance and honest feedback on fit and product
• Use product knowledge to drive sales and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Support department readiness by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, markdowns, and light cleaning
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments based on business needs
• Follow store policies and contribute to a collaborative team environment
