Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates a customer following both digitally and in-store. You will set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling while delivering honest, confident styling and fit advice. The role also supports team merchandising tasks to keep the department customer-ready and requires a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the customer following
• Provide excellent customer service with honest styling and fit recommendations
• Keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Assist in opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts and processing customer orders
• Be flexible to perform duties in other departments and adapt to variable schedules based on business needs

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to excel in a team environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and follow through in a fast-paced setting
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and regular lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
