Summary

Seasonal and regular role responsible for receiving, processing and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining organized stockrooms and selling floors. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to use inventory systems and new technology. This role supports store operations including shipping customer orders and assisting with special events and markdowns.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill customer orders following quality and packing standards
• Prepare and ship customer orders meeting shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Provide general store support including set up of special events and relocating fixtures

Requirements

• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use various technology and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
