Summary

Seasonal and regular role responsible for receiving, processing and delivering merchandise to selling departments while supporting order fulfillment and store operations. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
• Deliver merchandise to selling departments and assist with stockroom organization
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments and support inventory control processes
• Assist with store tasks such as markdowns, fixture relocation, and event setup
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Provide general support to store operations as needed

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Comfort using various technology and new computer applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Previous retail or logistics experience preferred
