Retail Stock Associate - Marin

Summary

Part time stock associate responsible for receiving, unpacking and preparing merchandise for the sales floor while maintaining organization and cleanliness of the stock room. Role supports store and corporate directives to manage inventory, transfers, returns and paperwork accurately. Position involves physical tasks and close coordination with the store manager and other store staff.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack merchandise and complete required receiving paperwork.
• Replenish merchandise from stock room to selling floor daily.
• Tag, steam, fold and hang merchandise to prepare floor ready items.
• Manage re-pricing projects and delegate tasks on the sales floor as needed.
• Execute transfers, returns and damage processing per policy.
• Maintain and audit stock room organization, sizing and folding standards.
• Prepare for physical inventories and complete inventory reporting in Retail Pro.
• Process customer charge sends and follow up on inquiries as directed.
• Work to minimize shrink and maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Some heavy lifting and physical stamina required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory reporting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Retail Pro or inventory system experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
