Sales Associate-1

Summary

As a Sales Associate you will develop strong, lasting client relationships to drive sales, service and loyalty in a luxury department store environment. Compensation is commission-focused in addition to base hourly pay. You will deliver exceptional client service, actively build a personal client base, and support merchandising and in-store initiatives. The role requires a flexible schedule and use of company sales tools to engage clients across channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to all clients and consistently exceed sales and service targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships
• Attend training sessions, product briefings and vendor workshops
• Support visual merchandising, price changes and floor resets to drive sales
• Regularly communicate with clients regarding events, product requests and post-sale follow-up
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate to sales management when needed
• Adhere to health and safety, privacy, and cybersecurity policies

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a commission-driven sales environment
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Ability to leverage social media and build a personal brand to drive client acquisition
• Comfortable using multiple digital channels and the Holt Renfrew 360 app to engage clients and make targeted recommendations
• Solid knowledge of current and emerging fashion trends and broad product knowledge across store categories
