Sales Commission Stylist - Bergen County

Summary

Provide personalized styling and sales support on the retail floor as a commission-based stylist. Drive sales and client loyalty through curated recommendations, fittings, and wardrobe consultations. Maintain strong product knowledge across assortments and collaborate with the team to meet individual and store sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and conduct one-on-one styling consultations to understand needs and preferences
• Recommend and assemble outfits, coordinate fittings, and provide tailored product suggestions
• Build and maintain a client book with follow-up outreach and appointment scheduling
• Meet and exceed individual sales and commission targets through proactive selling
• Process transactions, manage client orders, and ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Maintain floor presentation, restock merchandise, and support visual merchandising efforts

Requirements

• 3+ years of retail sales or styling experience, preferably in apparel or luxury goods
• Proven commission-based sales performance and strong closing skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service abilities
• Deep product knowledge and a keen eye for fit and styling
• Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and peak shopping periods
• Ability to stand and work on the sales floor for extended periods
