Summary
The Sales Manager - Designer leads the sales experience and team within the store, driving sales growth through coaching, client development, and operational execution. This role focuses on recruiting and developing talent, building lasting client relationships, and partnering across functions to deliver exceptional luxury service and achieve store objectives.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and train new hires to build a talent bench
- Coach and develop direct reports to improve selling behaviors and clienteling skills
- Maintain high visibility on the selling floor to model service and mentor associates
- Drive client development initiatives including appointments, outreach, and events
- Use data and clienteling tools to identify opportunities to increase sales and repeat business
- Manage scheduling and daily priorities to meet business needs
- Support audit compliance and enforce department and stockroom controls
- Collaborate with store leadership, marketing, vendors, and merchants to execute initiatives
- Analyze trends and adjust strategies to meet departmental goals
Requirements
- Supervisory experience managing a team of direct reports
- Proven track record of achieving sales and operational results in retail
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social selling, and Google Workspace
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 10 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Luxury retail fashion experience preferred
- Four year degree preferred
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
