Summary
The Sales Specialist supports boutique sales and client service objectives in a fast paced luxury retail environment. This role is responsible for achieving individual sales goals, maintaining the selling floor and workstation standards, processing accurate POS transactions, and adhering to asset protection procedures while delivering high levels of client service.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual individual sales targets and contribute to boutique goals
- Organize and maintain the selling floor including merchandising replenishment and visual merchandising guidelines
- Process POS transactions accurately and maintain CRM client records
- Support inventory preparation and participate in cycle counts and physical inventory
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and administrative after sales support as needed
- Follow asset protection procedures including key control, tagging, ticketing, and bag checks
- Provide prompt friendly client service including assistance with wrapping and packaging
- Communicate POS discrepancies and assist management with variances
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience
- Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to multi task, work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and open availability to meet business needs
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Comfortable following asset protection and merchandising procedures
