Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership and culture. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the team through coaching and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support and promote business initiatives and uphold customer service standards.
- Manage opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges in absence of manager.
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards including stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Participate in task tracking, retail web updates, and communicate tasks to management and associates.
- Demonstrate professional etiquette and a passion for the product while delivering value added services.
Requirements
- Relevant retail sales experience preferred and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff toward goal achievement.
- Analytical and business acumen with strong computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Outlook).
- Ability to operate register and stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
- Ability to maneuver sales floor, lift up to 30 lbs and use a ladder as trained under safety guidelines.
