Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations during a high-volume period. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight then unpack and distribute merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special event setup, markdowns and fixture relocation
- Handle merchandise including lifting and carrying items frequently throughout shifts
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use various technologies and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours including bending, twisting and reaching
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
