Summary
Seasonal logistics role responsible for receiving, unpacking and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure a well organized selling floor and stockroom. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- Unpack and process newly arrived merchandise using inventory systems
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Scan, research and document shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events setup, markdowns and fixture relocation
- Handle merchandise lifting, carrying and positioning as required by store operations
Requirements
- Prior success working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technology and computer applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to continuously move for 6 to 8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
