Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and organized stock areas. Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research and resolve merchandise shipment issues in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events, markdowns and relocating fixtures
- Handle merchandise including lifting, carrying and moving bulky items
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use various technology and computer applications
- Flexible availability to work based on business needs
- Physical ability for continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Capable of frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
