Seasonal retail stock associate responsible for receiving, processing and delivering merchandise to selling departments while providing timely support for customer orders and store operations. Works in a fast paced retail environment, using inventory systems and technology to maintain stock accuracy and support store merchandising and events.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
• Deliver merchandise to selling departments and organize stockrooms
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research and resolve merchandise shipment discrepancies
• Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store events setup, markdowns and fixture relocations
• Prioritize multiple tasks to meet business needs

Requirements

• Proven ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using various technologies and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Willingness to follow quality standards for packing shipping and inventory control
