Seasonal Retail Stock - Valley Fair

Summary

Seasonal retail stock team member responsible for receiving, unpacking and distributing merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure merchandise is available and selling areas remain organized and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders for shipment following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store events setup, markdowns, and fixture relocations
• Lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds as needed

• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using various technology and computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
